Overview
Learn how to build custom test capabilities from start to finish. Join us for a build session as we create a custom multi-channel trigger instrument for Moku using GenInst Studio. We’ll start with the measurement requirements, generate the instrument, deploy it to Moku hardware, configure it through a purpose-built GUI, and verify its behavior using known test signals.
Along the way, we’ll show how GenInst can be used to create application-specific measurement, triggering, and control capabilities that would otherwise require custom FPGA development or additional test hardware. We’ll also look at several other generated instrument examples to show the range of workflows possible.
You’ll learn how to:
- Translate a test requirement into a custom instrument specification
- Generate and deploy FPGA-based functionality to Moku
- Adjust instrument behavior through a custom GUI
- Validate the generated instrument against known signals and expected behavior
Whether you’re new to GenInst or joined our first webinar, this session is designed to give you a more practical view of how to build, operate, and verify custom test capability on Moku.
Bring your questions and log in to GenInst Studio here to follow along as we build.
